“PERSONAL SPACE”, 2022
VIDEO

Personal space is a visual interpretation of my memories of life during the 2020 lockdown.  It explores the blurring of lines between inside and outside, private and public, and the struggle to find peace in a world in which boundaries were blurred and in which connection and accessibility was suddenly expected 24/7.
“POMEGRANATE”, 2024
VIDEO

Pomegranate explores the idea that mundanity can be violent. Focusing primarily on the domestic sphere, and traditionally “feminine” responsibilities, this video draws on my observations of the women in my life and the way that their roles as caretakers and homemakers often breed a quiet feeling of oppression and suffocation. The video explores the idea of destructive and healing routines-- both the routines that drive one to madness, and the routines that can save one from that fate.

“Love Language” 2022.
Charcoal on paper, 72’’ x 18’’

Love Language is a series of charcoal drawings that explores the idea of platonic love, and how body language can be used to express and discern attachment between people. The series focuses on hands as a motif of connection.
